What initiated this project between Victoria and Victoria was a respect and familiarity with each others art work. Both Edgar and Wonnacott share interests in the human figure as vital characters in their narratives. Personal objects, organic forms and elements of nature make up the principal image material with which both artists construct their narratives.

This collaboration between Edgar and Wonnacott provided the opportunity for a creative exchange founded on the images of: the couple, the parcel, the strings and the curtsy.

Each of us carries a parcel, bundles of associations and a history of complex relationships that we privately sort through now and again. With this project, both Edgar and Wonnacott have opened the parcel together and shared their discoveries.
